It looks like Mount Olympus will be pushing Hercules out of its womb to grant unto us a movie. We get the scoop from Monsters And Critics:
Although no director has yet to be attached to the Greek god pic, Sean Hood has penned a script which is being kept under wraps.
The mythological Hercules has provided ample fodder for more than a dozen Italian movies, starting with “Hercules” in 1957 with Steve Reeves starring. Syndicated series “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys,” starring Kevin Sorbo, first appeared in 1995; Disney released an animated “Hercules” film in 1997.
I love the Italian sword and sandal Hercules movies and I am glad they are making more Hercules pics. I do not know if this film is taking place on Earth or mount Olympus but I hope we spend some quality time in Zeus’ living room. I love movies about the forgotten Gods of the Greeks and the Romans. Pantheism just makes for great cinematic epics.
Now we just have to see if Lou Ferigno is game for another Hercules film.
