Joker’s Car?

Joker-CarIt seems to be Dark Knight new night around here. I was perusing /film and came across this story over at LatinoReview. Not only do these guys get all the early script reviews… but it looks like they get some nice snapshots too!

“A few days ago somebody gave a set report that it was seen the crew was loading an old 20s/30s pick up truck that has been hastley painted purple (a messy paint job done by the joker to match his own make up), this has been rumored to be his “clown car” used in the movie. Here’s a set spy photo I took today.”

Old school look with a shoddy purple paint job…I really dig what Christopher Nolan is doing with this flick down to the itty-bitty. Now if they can just keep Bob the Goon out of the flick, I’ll be a very happy man.

Personally, I freaking love it. Everything we’ve seen of Joker so far (including this car) seem to be a perfect blend of the NATURE of the Joker, with a contemporary edge to him. The car is a fantastic throw back, while not being too cheesy (in my opinion anyway).

So what do you think?
