For our readers down under we have obtained some news about the release of Death Proof in theaters. We get the scoop from our friends at moviehole:
The long-awaited “‘Death Proof,” one of the two films featured in the ”Grindhouse” double bill that was originally planned for release in Australia earlier this year, will finally make its downunder debut in November.
”Death Prrof” will hit Aussie theatres on November 8 – near two months after the pic makes its U.S DVD debut (See here to pre-order).
There you go friends! Take your pet wombat to the picture show and feed him popcorn delights as you watch half of Grindhouse. It really sucks that the movie was split in two, but perhaps the new edit of Death Proof will make it a superior film. I did not like the Grindhouse version at all.
My hope is that my Australian friends will be treated to much more Kurt Russell than I was.
