When it was first announced that Rob Zombie would be taking on a Halloween remake, the news was met with some enthusiasm. Well, enthusiasm from some people… not me. I really like Zombie’s music, and I really wanted to like his films… but so far his movies have been awful, cheap thrilled nonsense that’s hard to stomach. And sadly, what I’ve seen of Halloween isn’t giving me much hope that things are about to change.
Always have a prediction, but never close your mind to the possibilities. Because who knows? Halloween could become a new classic. TMNT taught me that no matter how bad something LOOKS, there is a CHANCE it might turn out pretty good. I just highly doubt that will be the case here. This new Halloween trailer doesn’t do anything to change my level of enthusiasm.
