Old Dogs – Travolta Williams and Mac

As if Wild Hogs wasn’t bad enough. Get ready now for “Old Dogs“. Same director as Wild Hogs. Same lead as Wild Hogs (John Travolta), an aging ensemble male cast just like wild hogs (Robin Williams, Bernie Mac, Matt Dillon), only this time they’re throwing in a little bit of “Three Men and a Baby” to the mix.

Yahoo News gives us this:

The film revolves around two best friends and business partners whose lives are turned upside down when they find themselves taking care of 7-year-old twins.

I just don’t know what to say. On a scale of 1 to 10… how hopeless does this sound? Wild Hogs was an abomination of a movie, and because we, the movie going public, were naive enough to go see it in big numbers, they’re going to punish us with more of the same tripe. But we have no one to blame but ourselves.

On an optimistic note, Travolta was fantastic in Hairspray… Williams is actually one of the best pure actors working today when he actually takes roles that require him to act… and you know what, I thought Stardust looked stupid at first and I ended up loving it… so there is always hope. Just a lot less of it where Old Dogs is concerned.
