Prince of Peace – God of War to Premiere At San Diego International Film Festival

Sdff

Hey there guys. For me, this is HUGE news that I’ve been dying to share with you! As you know, I’ve been working over a year now on my little documentary called “Prince of Peace – God of War”. The movie is a look at how the Christian faith went from Pacifism in its first 300 years of existence, to fully embracing violence and war today. It was my first crack at doing anything like this, and I’m very proud of it.

Anyway, I was just informed a couple of days ago that out of the 1100 entries, Prince of Peace – God of War has been selected as one of the 75 films to screen at this years San Diego Film Festival! I am beyond thrilled!!! The city of San Diego is just wonderful (I was just down there for Comic Con) and the festival itself has won a couple of awards. Check out everything going on down there at the official website.

The festival runs September 27th – 30th. Right now, it looks like Prince of Peace will play twice. Once on Saturday afternoon and once Sunday afternoon. If you live in California (within a few hours drive anyway) please do consider coming down. I’ll be at both the screenings and am more than willing to let people take me to lunch. :)

I’ll give more information as the schedule gets nailed down.

ALSO… for those of you in the Florida area… the 2007 Orlando Global Peace Film Festival has also selected Prince of Peace – God of War as a 2007 official selection. The festival runs at the same time as the San Diego one, so I’m not sure yet if I’ll be able to catch a flight to Orlando for the screening. If it plays on a different day, I might be able to make it. I’ll update you when I know more. We’re still waiting to hear from a few other festivals, so we’ll also let you know about those when we know more.

And don’t forget (plug plug plug) we start taking orders for the DVD on October 16th.
