Sandler And Schneider – You Don’t Mess with the Zohan

Schneider-Sandler-ZohanAdam Sandler and Rob Schneider have a new comedy in the works that’s going by the name “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan“… and I am absolutely beside myself with how utterly stupid this thing sounds. First of all… I used to be a big fan of Adam Sandler’s comedy… HUGE actually. But his schtick has gone beyond tired, and Chuck and Larry was really representative of that. Quite frankly, I’ve become a bigger fan of Sandler in more dramatic roles. The dude can honestly act… and has great chops when he needs them.

Rob Schneider can’t do anything. He’s not bad actually in small supporting comedic parts… but other than that, he is an entertainment black hole from which no joy, smiles or laughs can come from. He is profoundly untalented (more talented than me… but I’m hardly the measuring stick am I?) and should never be given a lead or co-lead in a film… period.

On top of that… listen to what the premise is for You Don’t Mess with the Zohan:

A Mossad agent fakes his death so he can re-emerge in New York City as a hair stylist.

Oh my dear sweet Colin Powell… that sounds awful
