In less than one week’s time, Darren Lynn Bousman will finally be directing his dream project. Bousman has recently updated his fans through his myspace page to inform them of the latest casting choices and to talk about the amazing set designs for Repo, The Genetic Opera.

Today director Darren Lynn Bousman updated fans via his MySpace blog on his next project, Repo! The Genetic Opera, which stars Alexa Vega, Bill Moseley, Paul Sorvino, Paris Hilton and Nivek Ogre (Skinny Puppy). Read on for the skinny. “Repo!” focuses on a cruel entrepreneur who creates genetically perfect organs that everybody needs in 2056, and who is content to send in a repo man if the recipient can’t make payments.
I for one am looking forward to this horror musical! If you have read any of DLB’s interviews, you would know how passionate the man has been about getting this film made. Even a bigger budget rip off of his dream project (Universal’s upcoming Repossession Mambo) did not stop him from doing this project. I am excited to see him do something non-SAW related for a change, and I can not wait to see movie stills of this inventive and bound to be gory flick.
