Prince of Peace – God of War: New Reviews and Updates

Pop-Gow-Poster-Med
Hey there guys. It’s getting down to Crunch Time! Tomorrow morning at 5am I fly to Los Angeles where I’ll be attending some events and having some meetings for a week… and then… drive down to San Diego for the San Diego International Film Festival where I’ll be premiering my new (and first) film “Prince of Peace – God of War“. To say I’m nervous and excited is a major understatement!

So first… a new review! Today the good folks over at MoviesOnline put up their review of the movie. Here is a quote from them, along with some of the other reviews that have come in so far:

“the documenary does a great job at presenting the facts, with the leading experts on Theology and Christianity and making you stop and think long and hard on a tough topic. ”

MoviesOnline.Ca

“Loved It! An Extensive look at how Christians went from preaching about love and peace to fighting for war.”

Peter Sciretta – Slahfilm.Com

“I was gripped the entire run time”

Kurt Halfyard – Twitchfilm.Net

“People should definitely see this… they’re going to love it”

Andrew Olson – MoviePatron.Com

“I urge you to give it a look and in all honesty, if your Religious Philosophy professor puts Just War on the curriculum, you may want to suggest he add this film as an introduction.”

Marina Antunes – MadAboutMovies.Net

SAN DIEGO FILM FESTIVAL

If you live anywhere in the Southern California area (like within 3 hours of San Diego) do consider coming to one of the two screenings we’ll be having at the festival. Both myself and Sharon DeWitt will be at both screenings and I’ll be doing a Q&A after both.

Saturday Sept 29th Screening: 12:00pm – Gaslamp 15 theater

Sunday Sept 30th Screening: 2:30pm – Gaslamp 15 theater

ORLANDO GLOBAL PEACE FILM FESTIVAL

Because these festivals are on the same weekend and on opposite coasts, I can’t make it to this one… but if you live in the area, do check it out!

Friday Sept 28th Screening: 5:00 PM – Rollins College – SunTrust Auditorium

We are going to have a DVD launch party and screening in the Toronto area near the end of October to coincide the the release of the DVD. We’ll give more details later about times and locations.
