Former ‘Friends’ star has joined the cast of the family comedy ‘Hotel of Dogs.’ She will be starring in the film alongside Don Cheadle and Emma Roberts.
Yahoo News Gives us This:
Based on Lois Duncan’s 1971 children’s book, “Dogs” revolves around two orphaned teenagers who secretly house nine stray canines in an abandoned hotel. Kudrow will play a foster parent to two siblings, one of whom is Roberts’ character.
Hmm…I wonder if this film will stay true to the book. The last Lois Duncan book I saw get turned into a film was the 1997 horror flick, I Know What You Did Last Summer.’ It was pretty funny because in the book, none of the main characters died. The movie was a pure a slasher film, ignoring almost everything in the book. So are we going to be expecting a family friendly comedy with good ol’ wholesome fun? Or are we going to expect something of ‘Cujo-caliber?’ To be quite honest, the latter sounds more interesting. I love Lisa Kudrow in dark dramas and comedies, and I love Don Cheadle in almost everything…but I think this is a film I’m going to pass on when it comes out in theatres.
