The Tripper DVD Comes October 23rd

Tripper-Dvd-ReleaseSometimes, how much you enjoy a film will depend on your surroundings. Are you watching it in a fun environment? Are you with good company? Are you having a good time? All these things will effect our enjoyment of a film. Back in April Doug and I were in Los Angeles and David Arquette called me and invited me to an outdoor screening of his new film “The Tripper” in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. It was an AWESOME place to watch a new horror flick. The food was great, the drinks were free, it was a great night… and both Doug and I ended up loving the movie. How much of that love was due to the environment? I’m not sure… but I did have a great time.

The Tripper DVD is set to come out on October 23rd, and I really recommend getting it and watching with some friends… it’s a funny little movie. The idea is that a crazed psycho killer dressed up like Ronald Regan (yes, you read that right) is going around the woods killing hippies at a music festival with an axe.

Let me repeat that:

A crazed psycho killer dressed up like Ronald Regan is going around the woods killing hippies at a music festival with an axe.

The Tripper is also going to be playing at The Toronto After Dark Film Festival this month. Keep an eye open for it
