We’ve sensed it. We’ve seen the signs. Now it’s Happening! Great tags on a pretty solid poster. M. Night Shyamalan returns after the vomit inducingly terrible “Lady In The Water”. “The Happening” has to potential to be a return to form for Shyamalan who has had 2 bad films in a row (Water and The Village). The synopsis for “The Happening” reads like this:
A paranoid thriller about a family on the run from a natural crisis that presents a large-scale threat to humanity.
Doesn’t give too much away… but that’s good thing. The concept and the poster totally have my attention. Shyamalan also has a pretty solid cast attached with Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel (I think I’m a little bit in love with her) and John Leguizamo. The film is set to come out June 2008.
