Atonement
Now I am not surprised at all about Johnny Depp being immune to failure, and Ratatouille getting the win for Animated, but I was surprised after all this major buzz surrounding Juno, that Ellen Page or anyone involved didn’t get a single award. If it lives up to its buzz, perhaps it was against stiff competition.
Often the Golden Globes are considered a precursor to the Oscars, and though less Hollywood politics are involved they often stand as predictions on the outcome.
Question for the International Friends, when a movie you hear a LOT of positive reviews about DOESNT win, does it make you want to go and see the winner?
