David Fincher is attached to direct the film adaptation of a popular graphic novel series, ‘Black Hole.’
Variety gives us these details:
Story kicks off when a sexually transmitted “bug” is passed from teenager to teenager. Roger Avary and Neil Gaiman were tapped to adapt the screenplay in March 2006. Alexandre Aja was previously attached to direct.
Say no more. I’m already there! I am a huge fan of Fincher’s work, (however I wasn’t a big fan of ‘Panic Room’ too much.) and hearing that he’s directing this project is music to my ears! Also, the story already sounds interesting. A sexually transmitted “bug” is passed from teenager to teenager? WOW! (I wonder if it’s an actual bug, or if it’s some sex crazed disease like in ‘Rabid.’)
It seems like a very different project for Mr. Fincher, and considering the writing team, (Roger Avary is one of my writing idols!) this is bound to be THE movie to see in theatres. So what are your thoughts? Are you willing to step into the ‘Black Hole?’
