All six of you ‘Showgirls’ fans rejoice! Gina Gershon is making a return to Nevada, as she is set to star in Taylor Hackford’s drama ‘Love Ranch.‘ The film deals with characters dealing with their demons and drama at a Nevada brothel.
Yahoo!News gives us these details:
Gershon will play a veteran employee at the ranch.
Hackford’s wife, Dame Helen Mirren, stars as the co-owner of the operation with Joe Pesci, her on-screen husband. They fall into a dangerous love triangle with a South American boxer (Sergio Peris-Mencheta.)
Hehehe…”veteran employee?” I wonder how they award these “veteran employees.” Do they give them blowjob efficiency awards, stars of sexual valour, or even kama sutra medals of courage? Are they shaped like colored condoms and displayed on top of their “goodie drawer” for all to see? What do they award the “employee of the month?” I’m guessing it would be a uniquely shaped vibrator with a cl*t stimulator designed in the employee’s likeness. :P
I’ve seen a couple of movies that deal with characters at a “love ranch,” and as long they make the film more about the issues of what the characters are going through, instead of purely what’s going ON in the ranch, then this might be an intriguing and provocative drama, instead of a soft corn porno disguised as a drama.
This may sound like a great movie for the fellas, but I think the film will deal with much more real issues of prostitution instead of providing great sex scenes. So, I would replace those visions and chains, whips, and toys, with dental dams, HIV tests, and unattractive sex positions if I were you. ;)
The independent project is currently being shot on location in New Mexico and Nevada.
