Regardless of how the new Star Wars prequels worked out, I will be a die hard Star Wars fan for life. That will be a part of me that will never die. So having said that, I am pumped to see these new Star Wars TV incarnations we’ve been hearing about. One animated and one live action. Even though I’m pumped, I remain scared to death they will suck like a drunk chick on prom night.
This little bit of news has me excited though. According to the folks over at Movieweb, it appears the first 4 episodes of the new animated “Star Wars: Clone Wars” may be edited together and given a theatrical release!
It looks like George Lucas’ upcoming CGI animated TV series Star Wars: Clone Wars may be coming to theaters in the UK. AICN and action-figure.com are reporting that the film will debut in May around the same time as Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
This would be pretty damn cool. Sadly for me, it appears it’s only being planned for release in the UK. No word if it’ll get a North American treatment or not.
Here’s the little sneak peak at the new series:
Please don’t suck
