Takashi Miike’s ‘Sukiyaki Western Django’ Poster

Kurt at Rowthree.com recently wrote an article and posted the beautiful one sheet poster for Takashi Miike’s film ‘Sukiyaki Western Django.”  This movie is set to be a spaghetti western/samurai film. (A lovely combination)

Rowthree.com gives us this poster and IMDB gives us this synopsis:

Set during “The Genpei Wars” at the end of the 1100s, the Minamoto and Taira gangs face off in a town named Yuda, while a deadly gunman (Ito Hideaki) comes to the aid of the townsfolk.

The artwork alone is making me want to see this movie.  However, I didn’t budge when seeing Quentin Tarantino’s name. He is only supposed to have a mere cameo. He has top billing simply to attract a larger audience.  I’m very interested in seeing Miike pull off this project. I love his horror films, so I’m very curious to see how this film turns out.

So what are your thoughts?
