Bone Movie

Bone-MovieIt looks like there is a Bone movie on the way. Yes yes yes, I know it sounds like the title for some sort of amateur porn movie, but it’s not. Bone is actually an independent comic book title that The Movie Blog’s own Darren Conley is actually a very big fan on. Warner Bros have picked up the right to the film version.

The good folks over at Coming Soon give us this:

The fantasy series followed three cousins from the Bone family who are small, white and bald humanlike creatures with big noses. The trio are run out of their hometown and find themselves in a mysterious valley where they are separated and hunted by other creatures. They are taken in by a girl named Thorn and her grandmother, and find out that the valley is threatened by an evil force called the Lord of the Locusts.

I’ve got to confess to only reading like 1-2 issues of Bone… to be honest I never understood what some of my other friends saw in it, and it certainly doesn’t strike me as material that would make for a good feature film. Still no word on if it will be animated or live action.
