Dominic Monaghan Says Jackman Ripped In Wolverine

Jackman-Wolverine-RippedWell, the filming is already well underway for X-Men 4… err…. I mean “Wolverine“. As a matter of fact it looks like Dominic Monaghan is already finished filming all his stuff. Recently, Monaghan was on Jay Leno and talked a bit about the physical condition of Hugh Jackman.

He didn’t reveal much, not even what Beak was doing in a Wolverine origin film, but he did praise Hugh Jackman’s dedication to his impressive physique. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen a guy in real life look that good. We were doing a scene at night where he was doing press-ups. Not to get his biceps or his shoulders bigger, but to get the veins on his biceps and shoulders bigger.”

You’ve got to be impressed with the dedication it takes any actor to get beefed up for a role. They usually have to pack on pound of muscle in a very short period of time, which requires LOTS of time in the gym, extremely hard work outs and an insanely disciplined diet. Jackman has always looked good as Wolverine, but I think he realized that “The ol’ Canuckle Head” should be even a bit MORE buff.

I’m really looking forward to this flick. Not just because I liked all the other X-Men film (yes, I even got a kick out of X-Men 3), not just because I think Jackman makes one hell of a Wolverine… but mostly because they’ve got Gavin Hood directing it. This should be fun… I hope. (Source: Cinimatical)
