Elizabeth Banks To Play Laura Bush In “W”

As some of you know, Oliver Stone is in the process of putting together his next film at this point titled “W”. The movie is about George W Bush. We’ve already heard that Josh Brolin (No Country For Old Men) is going to be playing the lead role (Maybe they should get Javier Bardem to play Osama Bin Laden), and it now appears they’ve found their Laura Bush. The super hot Elizabeth Banks.

To me, Banks so far has done no wrong. I’ve always loved her in 40 Year Old Virgin. She was fantastic in Slither. She was great in Definitely Maybe. The only bump in the road is that she’s in that new crappy looking Eddie “Super Sell Out” Murphy movie “Meet Dave”. But oh well… everyone will have a bad day at the office.

Personally I’m really looking forward to this film. I don’t love every Stone movie… but I’ve always appreciated his approach to his films, and let’s face it, the subject matter of this one with generate more than a little interest. Add Elizabeth Banks to that mix and I’m sold.
