Anne Hathaway looks to be keeping her dance card full and with her upcoming roster it seems the dancing will be at weddings. Her upcoming Dancing with Shiva and Bride Wars might have a common theme, but appear to be different types of movies.
““I have a movie I made with Jonathan Demme coming out that I’m so proud of,” Hathaway gushed, talking about her recent work with the “Silence of the Lambs” director. In that flick, the “Devil Wears Prada” alum gets to play an ex-model herself, who leaves rehab to attend her sister’s wedding.
We’re in-between titles right now – it was called ‘Dancing with Shiva’,” she revealed. “My character is a very interesting young girl, and I think there’s something for everyone in that one.”
After that flick hits theaters later this year, Hathaway will prove she isn’t always the bridesmaid, as audiences will see her in a white dress in 2009.
“I’m about to go off and make a movie with Kate Hudson called ‘Bride Wars,’ it’s like ‘Wedding Crashers’ meets ‘Old School’,” she grinned. “Kate Hudson and I play people who’ve been best friends since we were little girls. Through a series of mishaps, our weddings get booked on the same day, and through a series of misunderstandings we think the other took it. So then, we’re mad at one other.”
I have always found something infectiously irresistible about Anne Hathaway. I obsessively collect her movies.
It is good to see that she is keeping busy. Right now I just can’t wait to see her in Get Smart. That movie has me for more reasons than just Anne.
