Cool news! It looks like the younger brothers of Chris Farley are about to shoot a comedy featuring a number of SNL alumni. We get the scoop from the caves of Yahoo:
The younger brothers of Chris Farley are about to start shooting a satire that will feature many of the late comedian’s friends and colleagues from “Saturday Night Live.” “Hollywood and Wine” is about a Hollywood chef and an aspiring actress who embark on a get-rich quick scheme that results in mistaken identify and a run-in with the mob.
Several former “SNL” cast members will appear alongside the brothers in the comedy, including Chris Kattan, David Spade, Norm MacDonald, Horatio Sanz and Chris Parnell, according to producers.
I guess we will soon see if humor has anything to do with genetics! If the brothers Farley are able to bring us a fantastic comedy with this group of black belts, I will be very pleased. It will be cool to see some of these guys work together again with the brothers of a man they all loved and respected.
Norm MacDonald is reason enough for me to see this film. This guy fucking SLAYS me. His work on SNL’s weekend report was the greatest. His delivery was second to none. The fact that he was fired by an NBC douche bag for making jokes about OJ “the murderer” still sickens me. If Norm needed blood – I would throw in an extra pint – just for good measure.
This will be a cool one to follow and I look forward to seeing the continued work of the Farley clan.
