Holy crap this was a wicked idea. As many of you know I had a chance this past Wednesday to see a screening of “Tropic Thunder”. You can see my review here. Anyway, one of the funniest parts of the movie (and there are LOTS of funny parts) is right at the beginning where they show fake trailers for movies staring the main “actors” in the Tropic Thunder movie. They show a fake trailer for a movie with the actor played by Ben Stiller, one for the actor played by Jack Black, etc. etc. etc.
Anyway, the fake trailer for the actor played by Robert Downey Jr. was the best of them and I thought I was going to puke I was laughing so hard. Anyway, it looks like Paramount has put up an “official website” for the fake movie. The flick is called “Satan’s Alley” and co-stars Tobey Maguire. CLASSIC! You can see the site here.
