The Movie Blog: Uncut Now LIVE Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday.

Hey there guys. For those of you who are members of The Movie Blog: Uncut facebook group, you already know this, but for the rest of you we have some pretty cool news.

Last week I was contacted by Brad Greenspan (The guy who created MySpace) about a site he owns called LiveVideo.Com and he wanted to discuss the possibility of The Movie Blog doing some production out of their studios. We set up a time and I went over to meet with his people (their studios are just a 7 minute walk from where I live in Hollywood) and look around. I was really impressed with their set up (3 production studios in the building) and their technical support staff.

So here’s the deal. Starting this Monday (that’s tomorrow!) The Movie Blog: Uncut will be broadcasting LIVE every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9pm EST (6pm PST). We’re very pumped about trying this new format out and really hope you guys “tune in”.

Now, some questions you may have:

1) WHY LEAVE NOWLIVE?
We have totally loved working with the NowLive network and have nothing but great things to say about them and our experience with them (especially SoulVideo). But LiveVideo.Com right now is a better fit for us in terms of schedule, and in terms of distance (It takes us about 45 minutes to drive to the NowLive Studios instead of a 7 minute WALK to the LiveVideo studios). I’m sure we’ll work with NowLive again in the future.

2) WILL IT STILL BE A PODCAST / WILL IT FIX THE FEED?
Yes! We will be creating new feeds for both the video and audio only versions of each show that can be downloaded via iTunes or any podcasting client you use. We’ll also post up the shows after they’re done so you can view them later if you wish (but live is more fun)

3) WILL IT STILL BE INTERACTIVE?
Yes! We will still have a great live interactive chat board. Doug and I will use the first half of the show to talk about news items, and then use the second half to take your questions and comments off the chat boards.

4) HOW LONG WILL THE SHOWS BE?
1 hour usually

5) HOW DO WE WATCH THE SHOW?
Just go to The Movie Blog at the scheduled start time and it will start playing on the page automatically. Or you can go to our LiveVideo channel located at www.livevideo.com/liveshow/uncut

6) WILL THERE BE LIVE SHOWS DURING COMIC CON?
No. We’ll be doing LOTS of video updates and we will be podcasting from Comic Con, but no live shows (that means now live shows this Wednesday or Friday

So there you have it guys. PLEASE join us tomorrow night for our first Monday Live show. I’m sure there will be some bumps, but you’re participation and input will help us make it better and better as we go along!
