Amanda Peet Joins Gulliver’s Travels

There was a time where I would have committed unspeakable acts of evil in exchange for Amanda Peet accidentally brushing against my crotch while walking past me in a crowded bar. I’m not saying I would have sold my soul for one night with her… but I’m pretty sure nothing else would have been out of the question.

However, I’ve fallen out of love with her, especially as an actress recently as she seemed to be a one hit wonder with her performance in The Whole Nine Yards. And now she’s joined an even more questionable project… Gulliver’s Travels with Jack Black. Yahoo News gives us this:

The modern retelling follows travel writer Lemuel Gulliver, who heads to an assignment in the Bermuda Triangle only to end up on the secret island of Lilliput, home to a population of industrious tiny people. Peet will play Black’s editor and potential romantic interest. “Monsters vs. Aliens” co-director Rob Letterman is helming the picture, which was written by Nicholas Stoller and Joe Stillman.

I’d love to see Peet come back strong and reestablish herself… I just haven’t liked what I’ve seen from her recently. But hot damn that is one beautiful woman.
