Glenn Morshower Returns For Transformers 2

You’ve all seen Glenn Morshower. He’s the only character to appear in every single season of “24” other than Sutherland… and he was the Colonel in command of the US military base that was attacked in the beginning of the first Transformers movie. Well… as you know, Glenn Morshower’s character died in that attack… but that isn’t stopping Michael Bay from bringing him back for Transformers 2 anyway. He’ll just be playing another character this time.

This time around he’ll be playing General Morshower (yes, his real name). The folks over at Worst Previews give us this:

“You know, I did the first one and a lot of people died and we were part of the team that was killed,” Morshower explained. “But even though a lot of people died, that didn’t seem to bother them. They wanted to bring me back. And then Michael Bay said, ‘Well, you’ll be playing a completely different character. But don’t tell me now if you want to do it [yet]. I’m going to send you the script.'” He continued: “He sent it to me and I looked at the name of the character… The name of the character is General Morshower. He named the character my name.”

I like that they’re bringing Morshower back and all… but the problem is he’s a pretty distinct and recognizable actor. I can’t help but think it’s going to feel weird when he’s on the screen. Oh well… I’ll worry about that when the time comes I guess.
