New images have surfaced online for Alejandro Amenábar’s Agora.
First viewed at Cannes and soon to be getting a wide release, we get a peek at some behind the scenes images of the period film staring Rachel Weisz.
Rachel Weisz stars as the famous female philosophy professor and atheist Hypatia. The story follows Max Minghella as her slave Davus, who turns to the rising tide of Christianity in the hopes of pursuing freedom while also falling in love with his master.
The film does look fascinating, but the set peices are what are really drawing me into this. There really is not enough drama created around this time period, and I look forward to checking this out.
