You know that pudgy peanut allergy insecurity case from The King of Queens? Well Patton Oswalt is channelling Spence hardcore in this deep drama that seems to be lightly seasoned with comedy.
Oswalt is a hardcore football fan. Religious Zealot scale. And his favourite player is the messiah to him. But one day when he meets him his whole world is turned upside down.
This looks like a powerful film about watching your idols fall from grace and the struggle he finds himself in. His meager life consisted of only one glimmer of joy and that is crumbling in front of him. Frankly I didn’t expect that from Oswalt, but I am eager to see it.
