Zac Efron is proving to be able to outgrow his High School Musical Disney origins and expose that glimmer of talent I suspected he might be hiding in there. I always wondered if he was going to be a Mouse House star then fade to nothing when he was too old for those movies, or rise above it and it looks like this might be the one that shows us which.
Me & Orson Welles shows Efron has some chops and I don’t see a shred of his previous HSM persona in there at all. This is a completely different Efron.
And to top it all off. Claire Danes. Seriously stunning, and always a pleasure to watch.
