I always like hearing that there are other stories behind the people who write the stories we love. Its nice to hear those stories too. So with the role of Ian Fleming coming, we get to see the man behind James Bond.
And the man who will play Fleming? Looks like it will be James McAvoy.
Details are scant at this point, and there’s no director on board as of yet, but based on McAvoy’s age, this will likely cover the period between the war and the very beginnings of the Bond franchise, if it even goes that far.
No, I won’t make a suggestion equating James McAvoy liking his martinis shaken, not stirred. Or even stretch to say James Bond will be bending bullets because that doesn’t make sense.
If this is true McAvoy will be taking on the dramatic role of the man who came to write the James Bond novels. He himself has quite the story, and I would love to see it on screen.
And McAvoy has surprised me a number of times already, so I have higher expectations than I have before.
