After compiling more than 6 million votes online, (which is about 5,999,900 more than the Golden Globes) AskMen.com’s Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2010 list will be announced tomorrow.
So before I checked out the list, I compiled my own top 10 “Most Desirable Women of 2010” and tried to keep it down to Movie Actors – although the AskMen’s list is female celebrities across all forms of entertainment – voted on by their readers.
I have seen AskMen’s list already, but I created my own list before looking at it as not to be influenced or give anything away. I also cannot be bribed into revealing any rankings, unless it was in the form of one of the following:
#10 Megan Fox Staggeringly pretty with her freakish toethumbs and all. That scene of her sweaty in a crop top leaning over the hood of Bumblebee’s Camero has become the Bo Derek Perfect 10 Poster of a next generation. She might even rank higher if she kept her mouth shut. She absurds verbal gems that make your brain hurt, and if not for the entertainment quality found therein, she would have been run out of Hollywood a long time ago. But credit where credit is due. She cleans up nice, and isn’t hard to look at. |
#9 Emma Stone I have a soft spot for geeks. I am drawn to the stereotype like a grade 6 kid with braces to a bench at a school dance. She always plays the quirky, dorky, very approachable girl that is just genuine and appealing. She’s got some serious hots going on in there and you get that feeling that no matter how hot she looks, she is less likely to stick her nose in the air if you asked her the time. |
#8 Anne Hathaway Bordering on that “too innocent to play that role” thing and so smoldering hot you can’t wait to see her in a sexy role. With just a hint of awkward, she goes from ugly duckling to supermodel in the most convincing way I have ever seen (in most of those films even when they are “ugly” they still look pretty good) |
#7 Leighton Meester The only reason I watch Gossip Girl (shuddap) is because of Leighton Meester. She just oozes classic charm and beauty so freely as breathing. Her recent music career is about as sparkling as Lindsay Lohan, but she made a little splash. Still a head turner, that’s for sure. Hopefully her upcoming big screen efforts will be more successful than her music career. |
#6 Christina Hedricks This bold redhead has made waves showing that you can be sexy and appealing without being a size zero. I first saw her on Firefly as Saffron, and then later on Mad Men. Wowzers. This woman would be hard to keep up with. Continuing evidence of my attraction to redheads, this is my tribute to an amazingly confident and all out sexy actress. |
#5 Amy Adams This all around adorable slice of pie ranks pretty high on my list because no matter how “plain” they make her (Julie & Julia) her personality shines. A beautiful spunky actress has proven herself capable in a variety of roles, but I keep wanting to see more. |
#4 Scarlett Johansson This quirky hot girl has a rare gift to be able to be staggeringly pretty in just about any hair colour or fashion trend you can squeeze her distracting bustline into. That and I find her onscreen presence very likable. She adapts so cleanly from one persona to the next. |
#3 Aishwarya Rai When people say Exotic Beauty and people don’t know what you mean, you can just show them a picture of Aishwarya Rai. I can’t even say her name, but not for lack of trying. Saying it brings up an image of her in my mind and my brain turns to jello. Graceful and Heavenly, Aishwarya could cold stop a room just by walking in the door. |
#2 Kate Beckinsale There is little this woman doesn’t look absolutely delish in. Of course she plays to the stupid hot stereotypes with her most notable roles being all leather clad and busty pushed up. But this is the girl who could wear an 80s prom dress to the Oscars and the fashionistas would love her for it. |
#1 – Kristen Bell My favourite TV superslueth made the jump to the big screen quite easily. Doesn’t hurt when you look like Bell does. Hands down my top pick for appeal and sexual presence. She has a sharp wit, a confident presence and that air that she is completely unaware of the mesmorizing presence she inflicts on men everywhere. (I am sure she knows, but she doesn’t act like it) |
So did I pick an appropriately gorgeous gaggle of girls? I think so.
I am sure other people will have other feelings on the subject, and that’s great too. Who are your Top 10 Most Desirable Women? (not just the hottest – Desirable!)
