Monsterpocalypse wants Tim Burton

The terribly fun Giant Monster destruction board game Monsterpocalypse is looking to be adapted to film. Perfect Man-in-suit opportunity here.

And it looks like in these early stages they are already setting their sights on Tim Burton to direct!

Dark Horizons shares:

DreamWorks Pictures is pursuing Tim Burton to take a crack at directing a film adaptation of the miniatures game “Monsterpocalypse” says Deadline.

The board game involves battles against a variety of enemy monsters that take place in a metropolis filled with buildings. Game creator Matt Wilson is attached as co-producer.

And then it can star Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter and have swirly shapes and frollicky dark music!

Now Burton might be on their wish list, but Burton’s dance card is getting pretty full already, so if they hope to have this film made they might have to wait him out, or find someone else.
