With news of Megan Fox departing Transformers 3, people were less concerned as to whether she was fired or quit, but more who they would replace her with.
We held out hope that they would actually go with an ACTOR, but the rumours that Gemma Arterton would take Fox’s place were shot down and now it looks like British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is topping the contenders list to get the gig.
According to GeekWeek director Michael Bay has hired Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to replace Megan Fox as Sam Witwicky’s love interest in Transformers 3. Following Fox’s departure last week there was speculation that Bay would be replacing her with an actual actress; however it seems people were naive to think that.
The role of love interest for Sam was originally won by seductively washing Michael Bay’s car, so we already know Bay doesn’t need a girl to be able to act to catch his lead actor’s eye. So why not hire a Victoria Secret eyecandy tart model to fill those high heeled shoes and low cut tops? Who needs acting ability!
And the movie is about the bots afterall. Why detract from that with a love interest that can actually act. People might think you meant for the people to matter in this film.
