The wonderful world of twitter delivering us vague movie news 140 characters at a time! Seems today we catch up with Ben Stiller talking Zoolander, and it looks like it won’t be happening.
Ben Stiller announced via his Twitter page something that sounds like Paramount Pictures has passed on the Zoolander 2, which was being both to be written and directed by Justin Theroux.
Stiller wrote:
“Ron Burgundy and Derek Zoolander looking to appear in sequels. Both men destitute, without means or intellect to fund their own comebacks.”
That sounds pretty much like a pass to me.
I would have liked to see a Zoolander sequel more than Anchorman, but frankly I won’t lose sleep over it getting passed over.
