The Footloose remake has been hitting some roadblocks with losing their director, and their star and now starting all over again with a new director, it looks like they are close to naming their new star.
Could it be Thomas Dekker?
LA TIMES said the current top choice, the front runner is now 22 years old Thomas Dekker, known for playing young John Connor in the short lived series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Dekker was recently seen slashed by Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare On Elm Street remake.
I found a great appreciation for Dekker as an actor when I met him and was completely conviced he was gay… which is apparently not the case at all. But in person he is very enthusiastic and bubbly which is quite different from the dark and serious roles he is typcast in.
I wonder if he can dance?
I also wonder how Footloose might look to this new generation.
