Just the other day, we heard Warner Bros. still promising to make a Wonder Woman film. They claimed it’s still in active development, but didn’t give us some sort of timeline. So, when the day comes, and Wonder Woman is given the green light, who would you cast in the lead role?
One thing’s for certain: Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt believes it should be her.
Jennifer Love Hewitt really wants to play Wonder Woman, aka Princess Diana, whenever Warner Bros. gets the adaptation greenlit. Not only does she want the part, but she’s “fighting so hard” to get it, according to a statement quoted by WENN. “I really want to play Wonder Woman,” she continued. “I’m obsessed with Wonder Woman.”
It’s not the first time Hewitt has mentioned her desire to take on the DC Comics superheroine. Last summer she told MTV News that she wanted the role “really badly” and pointed out that she’s curvaceous and athletic enough and that the gold bracelets would look great on her wrists.
I appreciate that she’s trying to hunt down this role like a wolf. But that’s about it. I just don’t see her becoming Wonder Woman; actually, I don’t want her to be Wonder Woman. There’s plenty of other beautiful and talented actresses that can do this.
