Casting for Joss Whedon’s Avengers film is half done for him with the majors all in their own stand alone films, but we are curious about who might fill out the roster.
And now rumour comes out that Adrien Brody is being tapped to play Henry Pym, Ant-Man.

Take this for what its worth, but I was just told Adrien Brody is most likely going to be “Ant Man” for Edgar Wright.
Now I know John isn’t the kind of guy to just throw around a rumour unless he thinks its from a reliable source, but even he is hedging his comment just yet.
Adrien Brody as Antman? I just don’t know about that. I am not that big of a Brody fan, and he was pretty weak in Predators.
Maybe its because I am holding out hope that Nathan Fillion gets the role, as I predicted he would (and now with Joss Whedon directing Avengers – its more likely) but maybe Whedon sees something in Brody that I haven’t.
Pym will have to exhibit a strong sense of confidence that is masking a flawed and very insecure man. Perhaps Brody can pull that off since we have seen him do both before – just not together.
Its just not sitting right with me. What do you think?
