Three more potential victims have joined Scream 4 (I refuse to type it with a number in the word).
Adam Brody, Marley Shelton and Erik Knudsen have been added last minute while filming has already started.
According to Heat Vision, Brody will play a cop, meanwhile, Shelton is going to play a deputy – a role that was previously geared for Lake Bell until she dropped out of the film last week.
Knudsen is said to play the “comedic relief” who’s aware of the horror conventions.
Sounds like they are trying to fit the roles that made the original popular, and they are going back to having a killer that copycats the traditional “rules” of Horror films.
As much as the sequels had the same themes to them, none were as effective as the first, so hopefully they will go back to fulfilling those charms.
I still think Sidney will be the killer. Just sayin.
