Today, a new image has been released in the LATimes, from Marvel’s Thor. It’s our first look at the Hall of Asgard, home of the Norse Gods. Also, besides getting our first real peek at this majestic throne room, we can also notice the presence of Loki, in his horned helmet (on the far left side); Frigga, Thor’s mother played by Rene Russo (next to Loki); and Hogun the Grim (Tadanobu Asano) and Fandral the Dashing (Josh Dallas) on the far right. In the center, we can see Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and Thor himself (Chris Hemsworth) kneeling before him.
I like it. I have no problems with it. I was a little nervous with the first images of Odin (eye patch) and Thor. Now with this new one, I’m more at ease. I’m liking the look and vibe of director, Kenneth Branagh’s vision of this world. Can’t wait to see some real footage!
What do you guys think? You more excited or less excited with each new image revealed?
