Al Pacino and Katie Holmes are in talks to join Adam Sandler’s latest comedy. Remember when you used to get excited about Adam Sandler comedies?
Katie Holmes (Batman Begins, The Romantics) and Al Pacino are in talks to join Adam Sandler’s latest romantic comedy feature, Jack and Jill. The storyline follows Jack, a family man, who must deal with his twin sister Jill, who visits for Thanksgiving and won’t leave.
Now before you get the image in your head that Katie Holmes might play Sandler’s Twin sister in the film, forget it. She is actually playing Sandler’s wife. I don’t dislike Holmes as an actress, she’s alright (just wasnt a good choice for Batman)
Sandler is set to play his own twin sister. That’s right people, Sandler has finally given up trying to make his films funny and is resorting to the tried and true Eddie Murphy school of success and will do the multiple role gag in a film.
I am not optomistic about this at all. Even with Pacino and Holmes.
