A teaser trailer for Skyline is online, and I hadn’t heard anything at all about this movie until I tripped over the trailer. It looks like a District 9 level of effects without the glam and glitter of big Hollywood names attached to pump up awareness. Looks interesting so far.
The whole imagery with the spread out alien ships with giant “mouths” opening up with beams of light shining down made me anticipate a giant laser beam explosion. But instead it looks like the ships are eating up people and abducting en masse.
So while these mysterious lights descend on the City of Los Angeles, people run to the streets to get a first hand look at the alien invaders. But maybe they should have stayed inside!
Will have to wait and see about a full trailer to get the real scoop on this.
