A prequel to John Carpenter’s brilliant The Thing is in production from Universal, and at an Austrialia’s International Movie Convention, this teaser poster was spotted.

The film will star Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Edgerton and Jonathan Lloyd Walker and is due out April 29th 2011.
