Very Recently Matthew Wilder said that he was holding out on the train wreck Lindsay Lohan for Inferno, the story of troubled porn star Linda Lovelace. He claimed that she was “worth the wait”
But now it seems he has come around to logic and likely with some nudging by the producers (who’s money is all tied up in this) Lohan has been ditched and the role will now go to Malin Ackerman.
INFERNO writer-director Matthew Wilder made the announcement yesterday via Facebook. Deadline adds that the reason for Lohan’s departure was due to the fact that “she’s impossible to insure and the producers loved Malin.”
Now this is more logical approach to it, and Malin Ackerman is a more stable and capable actress.
They didn’t want to wait for Lohan, no matter how much Wilder thought she was worth it. And even after rehab, the troubled actress has proven that she doesn’t take these things seriously enough, and could lapse again, causing even more delays.
It really isn’t worth it.
I hope that Lohan gets herself turned around, but she should focus on herself right now and look for jobs later.
