Weekend Boxoffice Report Oct 29th-31st 2010

With a spooky Halloween weekend drawing in crowds to what was supposed to be the last of the Saw movies (but still leaves an ending open to further story) and Paranormal Activity 2 holding the top spots at the boxoffice, Hereafter is still clinging to the Top 5 with a third offering of something supernatural.

Boxoffice Mojo has the estimates this morning:

Saw 3D – $22,500,000 – Opening
Paranormal Activity 2 – $16,500,000 – 2wks
Red – $10,811,000 – 3wks
Jackass 3-D – $8,425,000 – 3wks
Hereafter – $6,320,000 – 3wks

I am very happy to see RED holding out so long in the Top 5 as it deserves every bit of its entertainment value and its the least Halloween themed movie on the lits.

So what did you end up seeing this weekend? Or were you too busy with festivities to hit the theater?
