Biel and Vergara in Talks for New Years Eve

I actually liked Valentine’s day but I am a sucker for ensemble cast films that work together the way that one did. They took a lot of decent actors and blended it into a multifaceted story where no one story needed that much depth or developement. It was just a fun intersecting of lives.

But now they are making a sequel to the film called New Year’s Eve and Jessica Biel and Sofia Vergara are hopefuls for the already impressive cast.

FilmoFilia says:

Jessica Biel and Sofia Vergara are in talks to star in New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day sequel that already has Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele and Abigail Breslin all involved.

I think Biel has the caliber to join a cast like this, and would certainly be the most attractive of the bunch.

Should be interesting to see how it looks once a trailer comes out.
