Chris Tucker dropped off the Hollywood map a few years ago, and no one went looking for him, but now it seems he is staging a comeback and the vehicle he plans to use is a mysterious spec script called The Rabbit.
A spec script called The Rabbit, which features Tucker in a leading role was recently sold to Warner Bros. The story is said to be in the same vein as the 1988 comedy, Midnight Run. The film will be produced by Dan Lin (Sherlock Holmes) and the screenplay was penned by Micah Barnett.
To call Tucker a douche would probably have the cast of Jersey Shore taking offense, but honestly Chris Tucker’s biggest fan is Chris Tucker.
I wont deny loving what he did in The Fifth Element, and I did like how he played off of Jackie Chan in Rush Hour, but honestly outside of that I coudln’t tell you one film he was in, because I just don’t care.
It might have something to do with Tucker making demands on script approval and an exaggerated and undeserved paycheque that he got for Rush Hour 3. But I digress…
Anyways, I do wonder exactly what he might have in store with The Rabbit, but I kind of expect it to be the same loudmouth antics he is famous for.
