After seeing a publicity shot of Emma Stone all dolled up with her golden locks of naturally blond hair, we got a better peek at what the awkward sexy actress would look like in Spider-Man as Gwen Stacy.
But now we get a better look at the character, as some on set shots were captured of Miss Stone as she will appear as Gwen under her umbrella -ella -ella.
I love how Stone doesn’t look at all like what we are used to seeing. She has been a bit of an “it girl” lately as people are clamouring to get her in their films. There is a danger of blurring that line of the actress and the character when someone that well known plays an iconic role like Gwen Stacy. I also like that Stacy is not as well known by the general public and that really gives them an opportunity to explore the real role she plays in Parker’s character development. She was totally wasted in Raimi’s films.
She really is a very pretty girl, and I am now convinced more than ever that she will be able to pull off a good Gwen Stacy (at least in looks)
