Battle: Los Angeles looks a lot like a more serious more detailed alien confrontation to the likes of Independence Day, and I have to say I am intrigued.

It seems like a grtty real version of what could happen and exactly what it might look like if it did. The humans are certainly outmatched and unprepared to defend a planet from their superior technology and sheer numbers. It is something no military force can prepare for.
Where I make my comparison to Independence Day isn’t just the alien invasion, but rather that the movie seems to follow a group of survivors trying to make their way in a doomed world. I dont know that this movie is suddenly going to have a “we wont go quietly into the night” moment which makes me want to see it more.
