Love it or hate it, Jackass has been a hugely successful franchise, making its stars a ton of money and giving them spin off careers. Of course I realise not all of our readers are interested, but for those who are, save the date in your calenders, because on April 1st Jackass 3.5 is premiering on online player Joost. HOWEVER, this is only if you live in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, Germany, France, Austria, Luxembourg, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland or Turkey. Although the press release also says it will be available through the Jackass facebook page too, so I hope that means fans outside the listed countries can view it that way. Heres the press release:

New episodes will be released on the Joost.com site weekly following its online premiere.
“I love these guys,” said Nick Higgins, Executive Vice-President of Joost. “Joost.com, along with Johnny and the boys are a perfect team. JACKASS is an incredibly successful franchise as well as an established global brand. It appeals to a broad audience and has a fanatical fan base that are heavy online users. And JACKASS 3.5 is the kind of original, premium content Joost will be delivering more of this year, and we’re thrilled to experience this ride with them
I’m one of those kids who grew up watching Jackass, and although it is childish, it also reminds me of just hanging out and being stupid with friends.
Now, I don’t know much about films having premiered online before, but I find it very interesting that something as big as Jackass is doing it. If its successful, could this become a part of the film industry in future years?
Fun Fact, to date, Jackass 3D was the first and ONLY 3D film I’ve seen!
Are any of you guys going to check this out?
