People.com remembers:

Pete Postlethwaite died in a in Shropshire, England, hospital Sunday after a lengthy fight with cancer. The actor was 64.

I was a fan of Postlethwaite. His performance as Kobayashi in the Usual Suspects is subtle and always brings a smile to my face. He was an actor whose face and voice brought a resonance to every role he portrayed, and it’s unfortunate to lose him at only 64.
